Financial assistance is given to all evening students at Ursinus by way of a tuition rate substantially lower than that charged day students. Consequently, further College-sponsored aid is not offered. However, evening students who do not receive employer tuition assistance may be eligible for state, federal or private assistance in the form of grants (gift aid) and loans (which require repayment).
A student must be enrolled as a degree candidate or provisional candidate in an eligible program to receive financial aid. A student must take a minimum of six credits a semester in order to be considered for most aid programs. Some types of aid require full-time enrollment. The Center for Continuous Learning and the Student Financial Services (SFS) Office urge aid applicants to be registered for classes by July 20 and December 20 to assure verification in time for September and January class starts.
