This summer after an extensive analysis of our active
evening undergraduate students and their
needs, it became apparent that the continuing declining enrollment could begin to impact
students’ ability to finish their programs effectively. As Dean of Continuing
Education, I decided that the best solution for students was to phase out our
undergraduate degree program
over a three year period, ending in 2011.
Non-degree undergraduate students are welcome to take courses as offered, but we are no longer
accepting any new degree candidates for this program.
The decision does not effect the SJU master's degrees running on our
campus nor the Teacher Certification program. These programs will
continue to be available.
With our dedicated faculty and Center staff, we will be available to make this
transition as smooth as possible and to answer questions. The schedule of classes
being offered in this timeframe is available in BBA Planning Strategy under Academic Resources.
