WebStudy NetGain Delivery Method

NetGain, a 7-week web enhanced delivery, is our unique delivery method that blends the best of online web-supported learning outside of class with small interactive on-campus classes once a week. 

NetGain Courses are intensive, web-enhanced and seminar-enriched courses, that allow you to complete a course in half the time of a traditional class. NetGain courses are designed to meet the needs of the motivated, busy adult learner who wants to complete their degree faster without compromising the quality of their learning. In a 15-week semester, you can complete two, 4-credit NetGain courses and only meet on campus one night a week.  NetGain courses are available in all areas of study.

As a NetGain student, you will meet one night a week for seven weeks on campus, and will be interacting online with other students in your class and with your instructor throughout the week. Due to the intensive nature of the courses, you will be expected to work on the course a minimum of 10 hours per week aside from the 3-hour class meeting.  The off-campus work varies depending on the course, but typically includes reading assignments, Internet research, group projects, on-line discussions, and written homework assignments. All NetGain courses use WebStudy Course Management System. 

All NetGain classes have a pre-assignment week that begins one week before the first on-campus meeting. Students are expected to log on the day the course becomes active to begin their pre-assignment.
